MultiSensor AI is hiring a Customer Solutions Technician – Industrial IoT & Reliability (UK) to lead customer-facing technical deployments of our multi-sensor condition-based monitoring platform. This role sits at the intersection of industrial hardware, IoT sensors, and SaaS software, working directly with customers to design, deploy, commission, and support predictive maintenance and reliability solutions.
This is a hands-on, field-capable role for someone who understands industrial environments, asset monitoring, and customer implementation, and who can translate technical systems into real operational outcomes for maintenance and reliability teams.
Lead end-to-end implementation of industrial IoT and condition-based monitoring solutions across customer sites
Deploy, commission, and validate thermal, vibration, acoustic, and other industrial sensors
Configure edge devices, gateways, and software platforms to ensure reliable data ingestion and system performance
Deliver customer onboarding, training, and technical walkthroughs for maintenance, reliability, and engineering teams
Integrate sensor systems with customer networks and environments using industrial networking fundamentals (Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLANs, basic firewall coordination)
Configure and troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and software to support predictive maintenance and early fault detection
Support integration with customer workflows, reporting tools, and reliability processes (CMMS-adjacent, not replacement)
Act as a senior technical escalation point for post-deployment support issues
Diagnose and resolve sensor, software, connectivity, and data-quality issues
Partner with internal engineering and product teams to resolve complex field issues and feed learnings back into product improvements
Manage multiple customer implementations concurrently across different project phases (pre-sales support, deployment, post-install)
Coordinate with sales, customer success, and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction
Set clear expectations with customers around timelines, readiness, and deployment requirements
Contribute to and maintain SOPs, implementation guides, and best practices
Perform system validation, quality checks, and performance testing to ensure reliable and repeatable deployments
Document configurations, site details, and lessons learned to support scalable delivery
