MultiSensor AI helps industrial companies catch equipment problems earlier, before they turn into unplanned downtime and shutdowns. We layer on top of the tools teams already use, so there is no ripping and replacing. This role owns how we tell that story, how we package and launch our solutions, and how Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing stay aligned on what we sell and what is safe to say about it. A note before you apply: this is a startup. Priorities shift and resources are lean. If you need a stable, fully defined environment to do your best work, this is probably not the right fit. If you do your best work when things move fast and the playbook is still being written, keep reading.
On AI fluency: we use AI tools (Claude, Claude Design, ChatGPT, Lovable, to name a few) every day across research, writing, positioning, content production, and competitive analysis. You need to as well. It is a baseline requirement, not a nice-to-have.
Own the plan, messaging, and readiness for major platform launches and new solution releases, from early access and private beta through public announcement and general availability
Run launch milestones with workback schedules, readiness checks, and go/no-go inputs, so Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing work from the same dates and the same definitions
Manage naming and portfolio transitions, including what existing customers see, what Sales leads with, and every page, asset, and profile that has to change
Lead vertical and use-case launches across our priority industries: e-commerce and retail distribution centers, food and beverage manufacturing, airport operations, couriers and express parcel hubs, and data centers
Work with Product on pricing and packaging inputs, launch scope, and launch readiness criteria
Own the messaging architecture: category narrative, value pillars, personas, vertical framing, approved proof points, and claim guardrails
Maintain the messaging bible and field guide, and review customer-facing content before it goes live. You are the check on what is safe to market
Own competitive positioning, comparison content, and battlecards, and keep them current as competitors change
Run market, buyer, and competitive research, including persona work and deal pattern analysis from CRM data
Build and maintain the enablement that moves deals: first-meeting decks, vertical one-pagers, discovery guides, objection handling, demo narratives, and proposal and ROI tools
Keep every ROI and value story directional and grounded in documented use cases
Deliver sales training and certification for each launch, and review recorded sales calls to find where reps skip proof or drift from approved messaging
Agree adoption measures with Sales leadership and report on what was shipped and what is being used
Bring customer, field, and competitive intelligence into roadmap discussions, and help Product and Engineering prioritize based on what buyers need and will pay for
Translate technical capabilities across thermal, vibration, and visual sensing, and integrations with existing systems, into buyer outcomes
Confirm with Product what is available, what is planned, and what cannot be claimed
Turn deployments and early access results into case studies, testimonials, reference calls, review-site content, and PR angles, working with our PR agency
Brief the content, design, web, and programs teams so campaigns, web copy, SEO and AEO pages, webinars, and ABM all reflect the same positioning
Use funnel and campaign data to refine messaging and offers, and report launch performance on a regular cadence
Manage freelancers and agencies on video, content, and launch support
Launches hit their readiness dates with sales enablement, web copy, and customer communications ready on the day
Sales enablement assets shipped for each stage of the buyer journey, with a check on whether Sales is using them
Published content that stays within approved messaging and claim boundaries
Case studies and references published against a documented starting backlog
Pipeline influenced by launch and campaign programs
A track record in a startup or early-stage company, where priorities shift, roles expand, and the playbook gets written as you go.
8 or more years in B2B product marketing, with industrial IoT, condition monitoring, or reliability software preferred
End-to-end ownership of at least two product launches, including pricing and packaging input, sales training, and post-launch reporting
Experience building sales enablement that field sellers use on complex, multi-stakeholder deals
Daily use of AI tools for research, writing, positioning, and analysis.
Experience working with Engineering and Product on prioritization, beta or early access programs, and launch readiness
Experience with demand generation, agencies, and contractors
Working knowledge of HubSpot, and of Asana or Jira for launch planning
Comfort turning technical product detail into simple narratives for executives and for maintenance, reliability, and operations practitioners
Exceptional writer and storyteller who is precise about claims
Systems thinker who connects category narrative, use-case messaging, launches, and sales execution into one motion
Collaborative and influential across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and subject matter experts
Comfortable in ambiguity. Direction changes, and you re-anchor and keep moving
Eligible for the company-wide performance bonus and equity programs, plus standard benefits.
